Spectacle Lenses

High index - these lenses are much thinner than standard ones but have the same correcting power. Not only do they look better, but they will be lighter in weight too.

Anti-reflective coats - up to 8% of the light passing through a lens can be lost in annoying reflections. AR coats remove the ’glassiness’ of your glasses; internal reflections of high-powered lenses are minimised. They are also very good for night driving, reducing the reflections from oncoming headlights.

Light Sensitive lenses - these get darker in the sunlight and come clearer indoors or at night. They work automatically and save having to carry sunglasses, and cut out harmful UVA and UVB (Ultra violet radiation).

Bifocals - the traditional way of giving distance and reading in the one lens. Many sizes and shapes are available for different tasks.

Varifocals - the more modern approach which blends distance and reading areas and enables you to see all points in-between too. You look better, as there is no dividing line on the lens.

Tints - many colours and depths of tint are possible, with brown and grey being the most popular. Graduated tints, which are darker at the top and lighter at the bottom, can also be selected.

Safety Lenses - quartz coated, toughened glass and polycarbonate lenses are available for all types of industrial and sport applications.
